High quality wound carbon epoxy tapered boom. Ideal for wing spars and low drag tail booms in RC and FF mini gliders and DLGs.

This 88 cm long lightweight carbon fiber boom tapers from 10.0 mm diameter to 5.0 mm diameter, with a wall thickness of 0.3 mm. It is made from high modulus carbon fiber wound onto a tapered form, encased in an epoxy matrix, and cured at high temperature. This high quality carbon boom (hollow tapered tube) is extremely rigid and strong, yet only weighs 12.1 g.

These composite carbon fibre booms will be sent in a rigid cardboard postal tube by Royal Mail.
